John Harry Muir

John Harry Muir built a small paradise out of a dilapidated mansion in Sonoma County and turned it into a must-see in Wine Country.
The innkeeper and visionary behind Madrona Manor in Healdsburg died Sept. 17 of pulmonary distress. He was 79.
